About the Project
PangeaSeed joined forces with The Global Goals to bring attention to ocean conservation in an unlikely setting, landlocked Mexico City, during World Oceans Week 2021.
Collaborating on a mural project, the objective was to raise awareness of pressing ocean issues in an area where physical connection to the sea is absent. Renowned Mexican artist Pogo brought the vision to life, painting a striking mural that served as a powerful statement in support of Sustainable Development Goal 14: Life Below Water. Through this collaboration, PangeaSeed and The Global Goals demonstrated their commitment to leveraging art as a tool for education and advocacy, transcending geographical boundaries to inspire action for the protection of our oceans.
