Virginia is a dedicated community organizer and the founder of Clean Sweep Frederiksted, a local organization dedicated to addressing litter and various social issues plaguing the town of Frederiksted. She has spent the past four years energizing a grassroots movement focused on the revitalization of the Frederiksted community and has been recocognized by the EPA’s Environmental Champion Award.
