About the Project
As a longstanding supporter of PangeaSeed’s mission, Lush invited us to create interactive murals and a marine debris installation that highlighted the multifaceted challenges confronting marine ecosystems.
During the Lush Summit 2018 in London from February 14th to 15th, PangeaSeed collaborated with artists Aaron Glasson, Pogo, Prescott McCarthy, and Bunnie Reiss to produce a compelling installation that immersed attendees in the urgent issues facing our oceans.
Ahead of the summit’s launch, the artists worked on-site to craft murals addressing overfishing, marine biodiversity loss, ocean acidification, plastic pollution, warming seas, and coastal development. Situated on the Ocean Floor of the multi-level experience, these artworks provided a visceral and thought-provoking platform for attendees to engage with the pressing environmental concerns, fostering dialogue and inspiring action for the protection of our seas.
